Food and music with a holiday in the middle? Yep.
The beginning of this week really just seems like we’re waiting for Halloween. There’s plenty of fun to be had all over the city, from Scout Island Scream Park to the milder fun of the Uptown homes that are decorated for the holiday. Jazz in the Park returns
The annual music series is returning for the fall! After rain pushed the fall season opener back a week, local songstress Gina Brown is slated to hit the stage at Armstrong Park on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 4-8 p.m. Other acts in the weekly series last this month include Mike Soulman Baptiste and The Mystics and 70’s R&B band Rose Royce.
NOMAD Food Truck Fest
To celebrate the launch of its new app, NOMAD is bringing together some of the city’s best food trucks to Champions Square on Friday, Nov. 2 from 5-8 p.m. Participants include Frencheeze, Diva Dawg and La Concinita. Click here for the full list of trucks.
