After the abrupt closure of Sucre’ confectionary on Monday morning, Bywater Bakery said it’s stepping in to help any couples who may have lost their wedding cake orders.

“To all the engaged couples effected by this abrupt shutdown, Bywater Bakery has your back. The last thing you need while planning your wedding is extra stress,” a post on the bakery’s social media page said.

“We will do our best to honor any wedding cake contract held with Sucré. We also understand many brides and grooms are out the deposits already paid. So we’ll also honor the deposits you’ve paid, up to 30% of the total quoted.”
