Calling All Who Dats: Gleason Gras is This Friday

Ring in the Saints season and help out a good cause tomorrow night.

by Alex Galbraith | September 6, 2018

Nobody needs a reason to go full Who Dat. The football season is happening and that’s more than enough of an excuse. But if you were in search of some sort of push to let your Black n’ Gold flag fly, Gleason Gras is tomorrow night.

The yearly celebration in Champions Square gathers the faithful ahead of the football season for a concert and celebration of all things Saints. Expect Manning jerseys. Expect Brees puns. Finish your drink if you see someone sporting a Billy Joe uniform.

The party will feature performances from various beloved locals like DJ Jubilee and Marc Broussard. Fan contests and other fun events are scheduled throughout the evening. The price is a $10 suggested donation with proceeds benefiting Team Gleason, former Saint Steve Gleason’s charity helping people who have been diagnosed with neuromuscular diseases.

Where: Champions Square
When: Friday, September 6, 5-10:30 p.m.
