Every weekend in New Orleans is chock full of comedy shows to fill your evenings. Nearly every bar in town can lay claim to some showcase full of first-timers, up-and-comers and the occasional drop-in from superstars. With so many stages and only one you, it can be tough to decide which sets are worth your time. Luckily, we’ve done the leg work for this weekend.
If you go to only one comedy show this weekend, hit up Clash of the Titans at Central City Caribbean hotspot 14 Parishes. Young Funny leave their typical homebase out on Poland Avenue to come halfway uptown for a night with some of the city’s best young comics. DC Paul, late of the always hopping Jazz Market night The Jam, will be joined by Black Girl Giggles’ Geneva Joy and Piss Yo Pants Comedy’s Mark Caesar as well as River Smith and host Shervey.
