The market launched a new app to make it easier on us all to make sure we have healthy, local options for food. The free app allows customers to buy their produce online before vendors run out, and then pick it up at the market. It also lets customers see what vendors will have in stock that day, even before the market opens.
The farmers market moves from day to day, so customers can select a market location and day to see all of the available products. At checkout, customers will be charged a five-percent fee that covers the cost of the transaction and helps vendors participate without any additional out-of-pocket expenses.
