Feelings. So deep in our feelings. It’s not just Ella Mai who has us in our feelings. Drake is getting in on all this emotion, right here in New Orleans, it looks like.
It’s about time Drake shoot a video here in the 504. His track, “In My Feelings” from his latest album, “Scorpion” samples NOLA natives Lil’ Wayne and the late bounce artist, Magnolia Short. Seems only right, especially after “Nice for What’ which featured the Queen Diva herself, that Drake give our city some shine in his latest video.
Carl Chery of Spotify tweeted a video of Karena Evans, the 22-year-old director who was behind the camera doing her thing for the video of three “Scorpion” singles: “God’s plan,” “I’m Upset” and “Nice For What.” In the social media clip, Evans can be heard telling extras and dancers, who are standing in front of the Frenchmen Street location of Dat Dog, to “Keep clapping. Keep clapping” as the music for “In My Feelings” plays in the background.
We might even have to do our own version of the “In My Feelings” challenge we’ve been seeing everywhere.

Locals are even weighing in on what they think Drake should feature in his upcoming New Orleans-shot video. Actor Martin “Bats” Bradford of The Misbelief podcast posted this message to the artist on Instagram:
