In lieu of just beads and signature throws, cabbages, kisses and flowers fell on the Irish Channel on Saturday as the annual parade that marks St. Patrick’s Day weekend rolled through the streets.
Crowds swarm near Magazine and Third streets to celebrate the weekend, and we sent photographer Matthew Hinton to bring back the Irish images.
