New Orleans Greek Festival Celebrates the Tricentennial! Our great city is turning 300 years strong, and we are planning a great Greek party! We may have only gotten here 150 years ago, but we love New Orleans and have a weekend of fun activities and events planned! Be sure to check the website for the latest information! Featuring plenty of homemade traditional Greek food and wine, and desserts, desserts, desserts! Live traditional Greek dancing, performed by the Hellenic Dancers. A live Greek band will be playing on the Bayou so you can get your Greek on! We hope to see you this year! Our festival, held annually on Memorial Day Weekend, will be from May 25-27, 2018. The pastry makers are already hard at work creating their sweet delicacies, the Greek dancers have been practicing their traditional dances for the weekend performances, and the Greek Kitchen is preparing its menu for another wonderful year! -- Opa! FAQs Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?All ages are welcome to attend, and children under 12 are free. ID is required for all alcohol purchases. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?There is ample free parking and a free shuttle from the JFK School field on Wisner Avenue. In addition, there is parking available in the surrounding neighborhood. What can/can't I bring to the event?Chairs and blankets are welcome, as are small empty ice chests. Only certified service animals are allowed on the grounds. Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?Please visit and click on the Contact Us tab for email and phone options. Is my registration/ticket transferrable?Yes! If you can't make it we encourage giving your ticket to someone who can! Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?Yes! Please bring your printed ticket or your smartphone with the ticket on it.
