16th Annual Patriot Poker Run - benefitting the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation. Participants can come by car, motorcycle, or boat. We start in Slidell at the Tammany Yacht Club, head over to The Blind Tiger then work our way down the intracoastal canal to the Seabrook Marina for lunch (provided), then head over to the old Pontchartrain Beach for some relaxing in the water and then to West End, Landry's, Blue Crab, Felix's and JB's Fuel Dock. Final stop is at the New Orleans Yacht Club, come in, cool off, eat (buffet-provided), drink, and take your chance at winning some money. This is a fundraiser where you have a day of fun and a chance of taking home some money at the end Here is the timeline Thursday - Sept 19 - 7pm - 9pm, Signup party at Tammany Yacht Club Friday - Sept 20 - 7pm - 9pm, Signup party at New Orleans Yacht Club Saturday - Sept 21 - 9am-10am Late Signup at Tammany Yacht Club then at 10am the fun begins Saturday - Sept 21 - 4pm Final Party begins at the New Orleans Yacht Club (All hands must be turned in by 6pm) All early registrants receive two t-shirts. All registrants get two meal tickets for continental breakfast at Tammany Yacht Club, lunch at Seabrook Marina, buffet at New Orleans Yacht Club and will be dealt two hands at the New Orleans Yacht Club. Early Registraition - prior to Sept 1, 2019 - $175.00 Late Registraition - after Sept 1, 2019 - $200.00 This Year - we are looking for sponsors for Jacobs Canine VETiquette (in Slidell) to sponsor a service dog for a veteran - Bronze $25, Silver $50, Gold $100, Platinum $250 - 100% of this sponsorship will be donated to sponsor a service dog FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Due to it being a poker run - in order to play you must be 21, however kids are welcome to come out on your boats and all the parties involved What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? If you come by land - parking is available at all stops. If you come by sea, all the stops have dock space. Of course all are on a first come first serve basis; have not run out of room yet. You can transfer your hand to another person to play your hand Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You will receive wristbands at the signup events which you will have to wear in order to enter the lunch event and the final party. If you have more than 2 people on your boat you can purchase additional hands or addtional wristbands. Additional wristbands are available for $20.00 limit of 2 addtional per registered hand. WRISTBANDS MUST BE WORN BY ALL PARTICIPANTS AT THE LUNCH STOP AND FINAL PARTY - NO EXCEPTIONS - THIS IS A FUND RAISER Can I update my registration information? You can assign another person to deal your hand at the final stop Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Each registrant is given two wristbands to attend the lunch stop and final party, names are not checked.
