The 9th Annual Glenn Otero Memorial Golf Tournament, benefiting Children's Hospital New Orleans, is named in memory of Glenn Otero, a Port Captain at Turn Services who inspired everyone who knew him. Unfortunately, Glenn lost a long fought battle with cancer in 2011. We could not think of a better way to honor Glenn's memory than by continuing the fundraiser named in his honor. Children's Hospital is a not-for-profit pediatric medical center offering a complete range of healthcare services for children from birth to 21 years in Louisiana and the Gulf South. For the second year in a row, tournament proceeds will help provide funding for the construction of a new Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center which will be built on the State Street Campus. The facility will provide inpatient acute treatment for children ages 8-17. Treatment will be provided by a multidisciplinary team whose goal is to provide each child with core skills and resources to assist with their ongoing health and well-being following discharge. We encourage past winners to wear their orange jackets and assist in the presentation of awards to this year's winners. Donations to the raffle as well as for ditty bags will be greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, please let us know! With your help and generosity, we look forward to this day being an amazing success!
