Course Description In this introductory 2-hour Abstract Landscape Painting Workshop, you will get to experiment with a variety of media and tools to produce dramatic contrasts and surprising effects. You will learn how to turn a realistic landscape into abstract forms, how to evoke different moods through certain color choices, and how to tie all the elements of the painting together to form a harmonious whole. As a result, you will take home a unique painting that displays a lively, imaginary world of shapes, lines, and color.
