Home is where the art is. For so many artists in New Orleans, that first home was NOCCA. Not only does NOCCA provide an environment to nurture budding painters, pianists, and novelists, NOCCA’s Academic Studio also offers young artists an excellent academic education. NOCCA plays a unique role in the vibrant New Orleans landscape, providing an environment that nurtures future chefs, painters and designers, filmmakers and musicians, choreographers, and novelists. You can ensure that future generations benefit from NOCCA’s creative environment by supporting The NOCCA Institute’s ART&SOUL gala sponsored by The Meraux Foundation, on Saturday, March 21, 2020 . The evening will include a live and silent auction, an incredible music lineup, plus food and drink by some of our favorite New Orleans chefs and restaurants in NOCCA's Chevron Forum on Homer Plessy Way. FEATURING: NOCCA Alumni Sweet Crude, Doreen's Jazz New Orleans, and Kevin Gullage and his Blues Groovers. Appearances by NOCCA Students all night long! Co-Chaired by: William Fagaly, Gregory Morey & Scott James, and Anne Raymond Honorary Chairs: NOCCA Alumni Karen Kaia Livers, Wendell Pierce, and Phillip Youmans Please note: ART&SOUL is an 18+ event.
