Anthony J. Rockwell is a freelance author, speaker, competitive body builder, and engineer, will discuss his new book, The Power of Life, a Story about Tragedy to Triumph, at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie. The presentation is free of charge and is open to the public. Registration is not required. Rockwells story began one morning when he left for work and suffered a horrific accident. He was 36 years of age. The ordeal would leave him deaf, unable to speak and suffering from a host of other injuries. Through years of rehabilitation, he recreated himself, both physically and mentally. He says he returned to a life that was better than the one he had before. For more information regarding this presentation, contact Chris Smith, manager of Adult Programming for the library, at
