The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library announce their semiannual BIG BOOK SALE, to be held March 14-17, 2019, at the Pontchartrain Center, Williams Blvd. at Lake Pontchartrain, in Kenner. Hours are Thursday through Saturday (March 14-16) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday (March 17) from noon to 5 p.m. This is one of the largest book sales in the New Orleans area, with over 65,000 items for sale, including gently used adult and children's books, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, video tapes, music tapes, and records, most priced from .50 to $3.00. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. WE REGRET THAT WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT CHECKS. There is free admission and plenty of free parking.
