DANCE PARTY DANDIYA NIGHT IN NEW ORLEANS Dress up in vibrant colorful attire for our annual Bollywood night in celebration of Navratri Festival. Learn & enjoy the Gujarati Folk dance Dandiya played in groups with sticks. _________________________________________________ Hosted by celebrated Bollywood entertainer: DJ PRASHANT _________________________________________________ Friday October 19th THE HOWLIN' WOLF 907 South Peters St.New Orleans, LA _________________________________________________ For almost 9 years we have pioneered bringing India's festive elements to nightlife across the west coast and now NOLA, in that same spirit we bring back this unique party featuring Bollywood Dandiya dance lessons and music set - to celebrate the Navratri Festival. Dandiya is an infectious & communal folk dance performed in group with sticks in the western state of Gujarat in India. Dressing up in colorful vibrant attire is preferred, traditional Indian style is encouraged but not required.

Rest of the night will feature filmy Bollywood, Bhangra & remixes, mixed in signature style by DJ Prashant. ★
