We are excited to launch phase II of your journey as a participant in the Build Health Mobility LEAD program. Following the training and core competencies development in the Leadership Development of Phase I, the foundation partners will convene LEAD participants, policy grantees as well as nonprofit leaders involved in policy development/change and advocacy to form an Equity Caucus. The Equity Caucus will be a key benchmark in developing a culture of collective action and collective decision-making – a civic renewal that will ultimately engage local communities in deciding how their neighborhoods will be developed and evolve. In this phase we will strive to reach the following objectives: Objective 1: To identify specific policy areas where citizens can have input and impact. Objective 2: To develop specific citizen-focused and citizen-led plans that increase citizen participation in collective decision-making and lead to changes in target policy areas—ideally with positive impact on the Claiborne Corridor. Register to RSVP. We hope to see you all Saturday, April 6 at 9 am ready to LEAD!
