NOAGE Coffee Talk Shared Experiences: Preserving our LGBTQ+ History We have lived history individually while the world lived it with us. The history of our community is a vital part of your recollection of important events, how they affected you, and are valuable pieces of our history especially in the LGBTQ+ community. The topic this month will be how to record and share experiences that have been meaningful to you, to help others who simply haven't lived it. Journaling, storytelling, narratives will be featured, and other ideas for sharing you may have. Let's discuss! There is a parking lot in the back of the Healing Center. There is also an accessible elevator. PJ's Coffee and pastries will be provided. About the Moderator: Dr. Catherine Roland received her Ed.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Cincinnati, and has been a private practitioner for over 30 years, with adults in transition, older adults, couples and families and diverse populations. She has a private practice in Metairie, LA.
