You’ve probably eaten his family’s tortillas at several restaurants around town, but now is your chance to learn how to create them in your own home. Alevar, who owns and operates Mawi Tortilleria with his dad, is bringing his passion for fresh tortillas to The Kitchen in the Garden. In this hands-on demonstration, you will learn how to make the dough, form the tortillas and cook them to perfection, as well as go home with a few of Alevar’s favorite recipes for taco fillings.
