The weekend of November 3rd is the two year anniversary of the opening of The Crescent City Cat Club; can ya’all believe it? We have adopted out nearly 150 cats and kittens since we opened, thanks to you. In addition, we have had several successful events, and couldn’t pass up the chance to have another! On Sunday, Nov. 3rd, we will be having a celebration hosted by The Hi-Ho Lounge (2239 St. Claude Ave., ½ block from The Cat Club) and featuring 2 bands: The Shake ‘Em Ups, who have been tremendous supporters of our endeavors, and Fantasy Non-Fiction, which includes some of the members of The Shake ‘Em Up Jazz Band, but with a rock twist. The cover is $10, which all goes to The Cat Club, along with 20% of the bar. Thank you, Hi-Ho! The doors open at 5:30 PM, with the bands playing from 6-8. Food will be available and we will also be having a silent auction and raffle. After the music finishes, follow the cat crawl down to The Cat Club for an after-party featuring: CATS. There is no additional charge UNLESS you come just for the after-party. That will start around 8:30, with a non-hosted bar and food available. The cover for that part of the event is …..you guessed it….$10. Also that day we will be having Cat Yoga at 11 AM at The Cat Club. We will also be at PetFest at La Freniere Park in Metairie, from 11 to 4. Busy day! And don’t forget to mark your calendars for The Krewe of Crazy Cat Ladies and Gents Lundi Gras parade, February 25.
