CRESCENT CITY CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL'S THIRD SEASON TO INCLUDE FIVE FREE PUBLIC PERFORMANCES Classical music will be ringing forth this fall when the Crescent City Chamber Music Festival (CCCMF) comes to New Orleans for its third season, October 22 - 28, 2018 . The popular festival is an outreach/mission-centric event presented by Artistic Director Luke Fleming , a Juilliard-trained New Orleanian who travels the world performing Classical music. Fleming recruits other world-class musicians and ensembles to perform in New Orleans for the event. This year, the festival is offering five free public performances and twenty more outreach concerts at various locations, such as nursing homes, schools, churches, homeless shelters, and other helping organizations in the Greater New Orleans area, providing exciting, interactive musical performances. "This year, we are proud to welcome twelve amazing musicians, including the world renowned Dover Quartet, to New Orleans for CCCMF," Fleming said. "Each year, our concert audiences are filled with veteran classical music lovers, generous appreciators, and curious newcomers alike. This year, we are especially excited not only to be returning to venues where we have performed in previous seasons - Tulane's Dixon Hall, and Rogers Memorial Chapel, Rayne Memorial United Methodist Church, and Urban South Brewery, but also to add the exceptional Vessel NOLA to our list of varied and vibrant venues. Between these free public concerts and our outreach performances for those who likely couldn't or wouldn't make it to the public ones, I believe this year's Festival will reach more audiences than ever."
