Waunakee Community High School has 1,210 students, grades 9-12. The band program is very active and consists of 2 directors and 156 students that participate in marching band, 3 concert bands, 2 jazz ensembles, jazz combo, pep band and various solos and large group ensembles (woodwind choir, flute choir, clarinet choir, percussion ensemble, brass choir). The band has traveled to New York, Washington D.C., St. Louis, Walt Disney World in Florida, Nashville/Memphis, and Toronto, Canada. This trip has the band traveling to New Orleans, LA and is represented by 112 band members.
