WHAT IS CYBER SAFETY DAY? A one-day event for schools and the New Orleans community to join forces to ensure elementary children receive educational tools to become responsible digital citizens. Cyber Safety Day New Orleans will take place on Safer Internet Day, February 11th, 2020. GOAL: To reach every 3rd grader (or more) in the New Orleans area. HOW DOES IT WORK? Connecting companies with local schools in need of digital citizenship education through our Cyber Safety Day event. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Companies and individuals that are committed to protecting New Orleans children from online danger. Companies that are tech driven, community focused and ready to step-up as local heroes can sponsor at any level. All Elementary Schools in the New Orleans area. Schools must REGISTER HERE to be considered for this initiative. Once contributions are finalized, the Center will coordinate logistics with New Orleans schools and deliver FREE Garfield's Cyber Safety Adventures Educator's Kits.
