Join us at the New Orleans Jazz Museum on Friday, July 20 at 2:00pm for a special performance from Desmain Barnes with the Soulheirs Band. Tickets are $8.00 and available at the door (cash) or online here. Admission to the concert also grants access to the exhibitions at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. About: Desmain Barns with Soulheirs Band performs an introduction to Jazz Music. Bandleader, singer, percussionist, songwriter, and trumpeter Desmian Barnes - the talented artist has also taught instrumental music, theory, arrangement, composition and has been director of concert, marching, jazz and orchestral bands at several local schools. Soul Heirs Band has played at numerous local venues. Its members include Dennis Hill, Keith Lewis, Charles Moore, Robino Barnes III, Lester Wilson, Danielle Johnson and Desmian Barnes. This event has been made possible by the Jazz Education Network and the Herb Alpert Foundation.
