Drafting and Programming for the CNC Router

This is a free class open the the community at large hosted at Fab Lab Nola at Delgado Community College. It is part 1 of a 2 part series for the 4'x8' CNC router.
This class will focus on how to create and prepare 2D drawings for the CNC router, and how to program those using the CAM software to generate tool paths to run the machine.
This class will start with a demo on the machine, with the remainder of the class on using the drafting software Vcarve to generate and save tool paths, and importing drawings from other programs into Vcarve for programming.
The majority of the class will be how to use the Vcarve drafting
tools. Materials for this will be provided by the lab.
