Alon Shaya will join Chef Einat Admony to discuss her culinary journey, their shared passion for Israeli food and the joy they find in sharing recipes with others. Chef Einat's newest book, SHUK: From Market to Table, the Heart of Israeli Home Cooking is a celebration of shuks, the open-air markets dotting the land of Israel. SHUK is a home cook’s immersion in all the warmth and passion of Israeli cuisine. Sponsored by Cathy and Morris Bart, this event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase from Octavia Books with a portion of the proceeds going to cultural programming at the JCC.
