Show Is Actually Early Morning 5/2! Doors are at 1:00 AM* Emerald Quintet, the collaborative outfit comprised of enigmatic saxophonist Skerik, drummer Stanton Moore (Galactic), guitarist Scott Metzger (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), keyboardist Robert Walter (Greyboy Allstars/Mike Gordon/20th Congress), and bassist Andy Hess (John Scofield Band), will return to New Orleans for a late-night show during New Orleans Jazz Fest at One Eyed Jacks on May 1st (technically early-morning May 2nd). In 2019, Moore and Skerik celebrated the 20th anniversary of their collaboration on Stanton’s late-’90s debut solo album, All Kooked Out! They recruited Scott Metzger, Robert Walter, and Andy Hess to round out the band—now dubbed Emerald Quintet—for a late-night show during Jazz Fest to mark to occasion. The band will be joined by special guest, former Galactic vocalist and New Orleans native, Erica Falls, for what's sure to be a memorable performance.
