Rejoicing in the 250th Anniversary of Beethoven’s birth we’ll open the program with Leonore Overture No. 3. This awe-inspiring symphonic work holds grand structure and brings the brilliance of Beethoven to the concert hall. The presence of Jorge Federico Osorio is sure to enhance our concert program with colorful artistry as he performs R. Schumann’s Piano Concerto. Osorio has received international acclaim as the recipient of several prizes and awards - not only does he possess a wide variety of repertoire, but his ability to compel the audience with his execution of a work so rich in invention will serve as a true testament of his deep passion.
