More Info

Tonight, a young trio unlike any other will be putting on a unique jazz performance for the Snug Harbor audience. Rising NOLA stars, the Extended trio take center stage: Honduran-born jazz pianist Oscar Rossignoli , a Snug regular not only popular among the local music scene, has numerous recognitions under his belt, including an honor by the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) as the 2015-2016 Louis Armstrong Scholar at the University of New Orleans (UNO). Lafayette, LA local Brad Webb studied classical music at the Boston Conservatory. Dave Kunian of OffBeat Magazine stated, "[Brad's] tunes have an energy and place for his band to make them their own, and that makes for a fine record that any modern-jazz fan will appreciate." Rounding out the trio is bassist Matt Booth . Matt taught at Carnegie Mellon University and spent extensive time on the road, both regionally and nationally, with - among many others - Lincoln Center's celebrated trumpeter, Sean Jones. And since arriving in New Orleans, he has worked with Steve Masakowski, and many others who constitute the cream of the Crescent City. Tonight's progressive, contemporary jazz experience features: Oscar Rossignoli - piano Brad Webb - drums Matt Booth - bass
