90s era. Spin off from last year’s production, “Magic.”
We see the evolution of Jane & Michelle’s TV show. Magic was a 70s inspired production where two working class ladies created a live music and dance TV show on a small scale through University access. 20 years later, as times have changed hosts of Jane and Michelle’s TV show, “For the Culture” want to take the show to the next level and fear viewership will drop without changing the show’s format. For the Culture, is a urban pop culture TV show that hosts singing, dancing, and promotes new and rising artists. We see singing group, "Diance’ and the Jetts" evolution from 70s music to 90s music. TLC, Paula Abdul and more special guests pop up throughout. Instead of changing the show’s live format, For the Culture hosts decide to give a benefit show and are surprised how much love they receive from 90s entertainers. From the red carpet to the stage, they realize everyones passion for the culture.
