Shaleyah Sun Chaser Tuesday, July 21 at 7pm For The Culture From the Heart of NOLA Shaleyah Sun Chaser is an international recording and touring artist, who elegantly brings something fresh and relatable to the stage. She resides in the inspiring city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Shaleyah’s unique vocal approach and stunning stage presence have placed her in front of audiences most notably at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans! Her mother, who is a pianist and choir director was her first musical influence and nurtured her interest in the arts. Shaleyah began dancing at the age of three with Darlette Johnson. Where she and Beyonce Knowles attended the same classes and competed together in national competitions.
