French Film Festival screens intense drama “All Is Forgiven”

The Tournées Film Festival continues this week with a dramatic story about a father and daughter reuniting 11 years after the father's drug addiction took control and tore their family apart. The Tournées Film Festival is a program which aims to bring French cinema to American colleges and university campuses. All Is Forgiven ( French : Tout est pardonné ) is a 2007 French drama film written and directed by Mia Hansen-Løve . It was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and won the Louis Delluc Prize for Best First Film. It was also nominated for the César Award for Best First Feature Film at the 2008 César Awards . [1] The Loyola Society for Francophone Cultures has just two films remaining to be screened in its Tournees Film Festival. All Is Forgiven will screen this Thurs., April 8 @ 7 p.m. and the following week will screen Varda by Agnes on Thurs. April 15 at 7 p.m. There will be no charge for the screenings.
