Gretna Kids Playhouse, Summer Workshop 2018: Magic in Me (July 16-28)

Gretna Cultural Center For The Arts

Join us for the inaugural year of Gretna Kids Playhouse's Summer Workshop. For two weeks, young performers will study the craft of acting through theatre games, master classes with local artists, and rehearsals for our culminating performances of the musical,
Magic in Me.
Magic In Me
emphasizes just how special each person is.
A little musical with a lot of heart, it follows Do-Nothing Dale's journey of self-discovery and the colorful characters she meets along the way.
The workshop will be led by actor/director Cammie West at the beautiful Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts (Huey P. Long Ave. and 4th St.) and is open to performers ages 7-13. The workshop runs Monday - Friday, 9am-3pm, July 16 - 27. We will have two performances of the show, 3pm and 6pm, on Saturday, July 28. Actors must be available to participate in BOTH performances.
One t-shirt will be provided with registration. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase. After completing payment you will be provided a link to complete your registration. A limited number of scholarships are being made available thanks to the generosity of the Post Backstage.
