The Growing Gardeners program introduces children to the fun of gardening while learning about (and playing with!) plants, food and ecosystems. Here are some of the fun things we do in a Growing Gardeners class: Tend NOBG’s Children’s Garden (planting, wedding, watering, harvesting…) Play garden games Harvest produce to make and try new food dishes Explore the garden with scavenger hunts Learn through fun science activities Create garden art Make new friends! Children ages 6-9 years old welcome Class fee: $17 per class. $14 per class if you register for 6 classes at once! *When paying in advance classes do not need to be used consecutively.
