Join Us for Our Next “Meet the Players” Luncheon & Port NOLA Boat Tour

PORT OF NEW ORLEANS
Getting there
1100 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans, LA

The New Orleans Multicultural Tourism Network is proud to present the fifth luncheon in our members-only signature series, "Meet the Players," a luncheon focused on connecting NOMTN business members with high-level business leaders and executives in tourism/hospitality, and economic development to help them expand their business network. Due to the size of the Port NOLA Boat, this event is limited to 20 members on a first come basis (not transferable). The Port of New Orleans is a diverse deepwater port uniquely located on the Mississippi River near the Gulf of Mexico. This naturally strategic location allows unparalleled access to 30-plus major inland hubs such as Memphis, Chicago and Canada via 14,500 miles of waterways, six Class I railroads and interstate roadways. The acquisition of New Orleans Public Belt Railroad strengthens our position as an integrated hub and supports our vision for regional freight-based economic development. Port NOLA generates $100 million in revenue annually through our four lines of business — cargo, rail, industrial real estate and cruises. As a self-sustaining political subdivision of the State of Louisiana, we receive zero tax dollars. Port of New Orleans is a modern multimodal gateway for global commerce and an in-demand cruise port. Our competitive edge comes from our ability to deliver seamless, integrated logistics solutions between river, rail and road. Mission: To drive regional economic prosperity by maximizing the flow of international trade and commerce as a modern gateway. Vision: Advancing global connections and infrastructure to exceed the needs of tomorrow. Port NOLA Boat Tour passengers on the Fireboat, The Gen. Kelley: Wear comfortable shoes. Please, no high heels. All passengers must be at least 18 years of age. When you arrive, park in the Port’s visitors lot in front of the building and enter the lobby. Your tour guide will be there to greet you. The visit and boat tour lasts about one hour and thirty minutes.
