It's a beautiful day here in sunny New Orleans. About to head over to Chickie Wah Wah to soundcheck for tonight's solo gig. I've enjoyed these shows over the last few years, a chance to play some of the old classic tunes from back in the day and a way of keeping the tradition of the New Orleans piano playing and singing alive. Thanks to all the fans that come out every week, locals and out of town music lovers from Europe, Japan, Australia and all over the world. Friends have been asking me to record one of the shows and make it available so I'm pleased to say there'll be a new 'Live at Chickie Wah Wah' See you there tonight!
