Spark a curiosity for nature in your kids as they play, learn, and grow in the Discovery Garden at Longue Vue. With activities like seed planting, arts & crafts, microscope observation, and storytime, Sprouts is for kids of all ages to explore the wonderful world of the garden at their own pace. With seasonal themes and changing activities, there are always new things to discover at Sprouts. Kids of all ages welcome, though ideal for ages 18 months - 10 years. Be sure to check Facebook for updates and to learn about special themes. First and last Saturday of each month January-October; 9:30-10:30am. Free for LV Family Members, $5 per person for non-members. Rain or shine. This week's theme: Water Play! Bring your bathing suit and a towel. It's time for kiddie sprinkler fun on the Oak Lawn.
