It's Junebug's 40th Anniversary year! We're celebrating 40 years of producing & presenting Black theater, 40 years of using community collaboration and community activation practices to amplify Black stories, 40 years of striving to improve the quality of life of folks who have been historically oppressed & exploited. Looking ahead to our next 40 years & beyond, we're invoking Sankofa to intertwine our past methodology with a future of audacious creative experimentation, creating new pathways for Black Joy & Black Liberation! Join us January 29, 2020 at 11 AM at Ashé Cultural Arts Center for a glimpse of Junebug's bold future - from our upcoming season to an exciting new program that will provide direct & deep support to the Black artists & culture-bearers that are central to our work & mission. #Junebug40 #JunebugNOLA
