This one of a kind event will give athletes the tools to manage their personal environment in order to maximize their training and performance. Presentations 9:00am - 11:30am "Setting the Stage: How to Create and Manage Your Personal High Performance Environment." Coach Goonan will share his experience in working with national teams at different levels, high school up to senior sides, on how best to manage individual workload while preparing for higher level competition. "Strong in the Right Positions!" Legendary strength coach Ed Cosner will explain how your work in the weight room translates to the playing field as well as tips and techniques he has used to help develop some of the world's top Front Row athletes. LUNCH (included) Demonstrations 9:00am-1:00pm Coach Cosner will walk through various weight room exercises with athletes and discuss how to maximize their Rugby performance through small technical variations for some of the more popular lifts. Coach Goonan will demonstrate some strategies to incorporate speed and/or conditioning training into practice settings. Players will have the opportunity to record speed and power performance tests as wel as trial player tracking (GPS) units in order to see how the technology is used in a day-to-day setting and how coaches utilize the information for practice planning.
