Jack Sledge is a New Orleans based singer/songwriter originally from Brooklyn, NY. Raised by an Oklahoman and a Texan, his pop suffused southern rock and Americana swings from a tender, crooning falsetto to a muscular, John Fogarty growl. Equally captivating belting anthems with a full band as he is telling of American mythology with an acoustic guitar, Sledge thrives in the space between self-examination and outright entertainment. After releasing five albums with three projects in two cities over six years, Sledge released his first solo EP in 2017. Alabama Snow is a collection of dreamy, acoustic pop songs named for the image of a white crepe myrtle losing its petals. His folk-inspired guitar playing and storytelling blend with his honeyed tenor to gift listeners the breezy shores of Dauphin Island, AL. Foundation Room Lounge opens at 5PM.
