Many of us are blessed with the deep shade of live oak trees. Underneath them you can grow a garden with year-round interest and beauty. Shade gardens don’t have to be boring! Punch it up with color, shape and texture. And best of all – not a blade of grass to mow. Gather at Longue Vue and let Master Gardener Nell Howard show you how. Afterward, we will explore some of Longue Vue’s shade gardens with Head Gardener Amy Graham. $7 for non-members, $5 for members. Pre-registration is required at longuevue.com/events. A maximum of 30 tickets will be sold. Strict minimum and maximum numbers apply to Longue Vue programs and workshops. A program or workshop may be cancelled or postponed if the number of attendees is less than the minimum number of attendees required. Longue Vue reserves the right to cancel a paid program or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, confirmation will be sent to confirm that the program or workshop is being cancelled or postponed. A full refund or transfer to another program or workshop will be available.
