Event: Metropolitan Human Services District Description: On Saturday, April 6, 2019, Metropolitan Human Services District, the local lead agency for mental illness, addictive disorders and intellectual/development disability services, will host an MHSD Recovery Walk/Festival. The purpose of this community event is to celebrate individuals we serve and those who recover from any type of behavioral healthdisorder. The event will be FREE and open to the public. The goal is tobring the community together, promote MHSD services and provide other community resources. The walk will begin at our Central City Clinic and will end at Duncan Plaza located across the street from City Hall and the event will be held from. There will be a stage area for entertainment and food trucks and vendors set up as well. We are also inviting community partners to set up resource tables.
