Hector Berlioz | Les nuits d'été W.A. Mozart | Requiem The LPO invites you to join us for a spectacular journey that will explore emotions through the use of sound guided by New Orleans’ own Courtney Bryan. Bryan, who has been described by the New York Times as “a pianist and composer of panoramic interests,” will open the performance program with the world premiere of her latest work. In closing, the orchestra will perform Mozart’s Requiem; an unfinished work that serves as the composer’s final masterpiece. Courtney Bryan’s new work is made possible by the @[9651527066:274:League of American Orchestras]' Women Composers Readings and Commissions supported by the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation. Program duration is approximately 2 hours including a 20-minute intermission.There will be a pre-concert talk one hour prior to the performance.
