MUSIC, DRAMA and TECHNICAL THEATRE CAMP: ages 9-12: JULY 15 - 26, 2019 from 9-3pm LOCATION: Dillard University Theatre Building on Main Campus TUITION: $100.00 per student; students keep their props and costumes used in the performance, please bring a bag lunch, The GOALS for this camp are to have the students build props and costume pieces for CARMEN and THE MAGIC FLUTE , rehearse medleys of songs from each of the operas, and then perform these songs for their parents, family and peers at the end of the week. Each day the students will work on these projects: Students will construct costumes, props and stage makeup! Students will learn popular songs from Carmen and The Magic Flute! Students will combine dialogue and songs into a LIVE performance at the end of the fifth day!
