Topic 1: Non-disclosures and Non-competes in Louisiana: An Overview Speaker: Jill Willhoft Overview: This presentation will discuss the differences between non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, covering the purpose of each, typical uses, examples in Louisiana law, along with common mistakes to avoid. Topic 2: Buying and Selling a Business: Start to Finish Speakers: Matt Mill and Drew Sullivan Overview: The presentation will focus on major aspects associated with successfully and strategically handling the sale/purchase of a business from initial stages through completion. The discussion will be designed to minimize complications, liability, risk and obstacles by identifying important considerations from a buyer’s and seller’s perspective. The presentation will also discuss the potential tax benefits of the Opportunity Zone program with respect to the proceeds generated from the sale of a business. FAQs What are my parking options?
