Come celebrate with NORD as we celebrate Women's History Month with a “19th Amendment: Women’s Voting Rights” panel discussion focused on voter registration and women's rights. NORD will host a panel of women in local government and community activism and discuss city government structure, voter's rights, and the history of the women's vote as it affects the Greater New Orleans area. Voter registration will be held on-site throughout the event. You don't want to miss it. Come out and help us "rock the vote!" Panel Members Include: Mayor LaToya Cantrell Deputy Chief of Staff Liana Elliot Councilwoman Helena Moreno, District 93 Sheraé Hunter, Director of Community Outreach and Special Projects, Office of Councilwoman Moreno Councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen, District E Honorable Robin Pittman, Section F Criminal Court Judge FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? There is no minimum age requirement for this event. All participants wishing to register to vote must bring Valid Identification, proof of address in the form of a bill, and either a U.S. Passport or copy of Birth Certificate. What can I bring into the event? Participants may bring questions for the panel to answer and all needed forms of identification and proof of address for voter registration. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes. The more, the merrier for this event!
