Omicron Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated “On the Heels of Hope Cancer Awareness” Champagne Brunch at the Ivy Cafe NEW ORLEANS---October 5, 2018----The Omicron Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will host its 8th annual “On the Heels of Hope Cancer Awareness” Champagne Brunch at the Ivy Café on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the New Orleans Hyatt Regency at 11:00a.m. Entertainment provided by New Orleans’ own Royal Essence Showband. There will be a presentation and stroll in honor of the Survivors and Previvors present. We will have a New Orleans style Champagne brunch with bottomless mimosas. Finally, we will have raffle for two tickets to the Saints vs Buccaneers in Tampa Bay on Dec. 9th, a two night stay at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, and a $500 Southwest Airline gift card. Tickets are $20. Proceeds will be split between two organizations, The Breast Center at St. Thomas Community Health Center is in honor of Soror Sonovia Maria Hicks, and The American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery Program is in honor of Soror Michelle Dejoie Manning. Both of the Sorors were active members in the Omicron Lambda Omega chapter and fought the brave fight against Cancer.
