This RSVP is for free entry to the New Orleans Jazz Museum on April 29 - May 1, 10a - 4:30p. In April and May 2019, Relix will journey down to New Orleans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Relix Celebrates 50 Years of New Orleans Music & Culture exhibit highlights everything that make New Orleans and Jazz Fest truly special; the culture, music, photography, art, tastes and people who shape the Crescent City. Featuring works from Michael P. Smith, Sydney Byrd, Frenchy, George Rodrigue, Terrance Osborne, Danny Clinch, Zack Smith, Jay Blakesberg, Michael Weintrob, Scott Saltzman, Clayton Call, Eric Waters, and Marc Millman. The exhibit will also feature the history of the official Jazz Fest poster collection. The "Relix Celebrates 50 Years of New Orleans Music & Culture", exhibit and events will be located at The New Orleans Jazz Museum, taking place during one of the most famous and inspiring weeks of music and culture. The exhibit will open on April 26th, and will remain open at the New Orleans Jazz Museum for approximately 1 month. The sound experience for Relix Celebrates 50 Years of New Orleans Music & Culture is powered by Meyer Sound, and a special thanks to our framing and printing partner, Level Frames, who produce museum quality frames delivered right to your door. The exhibit coincides with a special edition of Relix Magazine celebrating 50 years of the Jazz & Heritage Festival. RSVP does not guarantee entry. Admission is subject to the New Orleans Jazz Museum's capacity. This event is all ages.
