Today is the opening of the exhibition, Revelations: Recent Photography Acquisitions, on view through September 27. Revelations will feature photographs acquired for the Ogden Museum’s permanent collection since 2011. This exhibition will be a sweeping overview of photography as practiced in American South from the early 20th century to the present. Photographs included in the exhibition will be works by both emerging and established photographers. The over 50 photographs included will represent a wide range of photographic processes and techniques. This work – produced by a diverse group photographers – touches on many divergent themes relating to the American South.
