WHO/WHAT: Radio host, author, and culinary activist Poppy Tooker will sign copies of the new book “Drag Queen Brunch” (Rainbow Road Press, 2019) at Saks Fifth Avenue, and will host two talks at 1PM & 3PM. Written by Tooker, featuring the vivid photography of Sam Hanna, “Drag Queen Brunch” offers stunning images of some of New Orleans’s most glamorous divas alongside world-famous brunch dishes. The book includes a foreword from a prominent voice in the national LGBTQ community, detailing the history of drag and this very special community in New Orleans. WHEN/WHERE: Poppy Tooker's Drag Queen Brunch & Beauty Tips, presented by Saks Glam Beauty, will take place on Saturday, October 5th at 1PM & 3PM. Admission to the book signing is free.
