Join thousands of runners as they roam the streets of New Orleans and party with hundreds of RollerBulls (roller derby skaters with horns on their helmets and plastic bats in their hands) from around the globe during the Encierro. Some venues are not yet set. The Running of the Bulls is, and that's what's on sale NOW: Friday evening, July 13 - El Txupinazo: the official opening of #SFNO 2018 is pronounced choo-pin-AHT-so. This event is still in planning. More information about this event will be added later. Anyone who is registered for the Running of the Bulls prior to tickets being opened for El Txupinazo will receive advance notice for this event. More info will be added when the event is officially on sale. Saturday morning, July 14- Encierro and Post Encierro Fiesta: SFNO revelers begin gathering near the starting line during the wee hours of Friday night. But the crowd builds in earnest at 6:30 AM when the festival bars open. The Procession of San Fermin kicks off the morning and an invocation preceeds the Running of the Bulls at 8 AM SHARP! This is a ticketed only event. More information on entertainment will be added as this develops...just know that the fiesta will be as good as always, if not better. Saturday evening, July 14 - La Fiesta de Pantalones: Information will be added as it is finalized! Sunday early afternoon, July 15 - El Pobre de Mi: close out #SFNO 2018 at with Ernest Hemingway-inspired burlesque, contests, food and yes, more cocktails. This event is still in planning. CHARITIES for SFNO 2018: (Officially TBD, but most likely what you see below) In 2014 Nola Bulls cofounder Beth Hanning was diagnosed with Stage IIB (2B) Breast Cancer. Following treatment and surgery Beth's Friends Forever (BFF NOLA, Inc) was formed to raise money to supplement the resources of financially needy women fighting cancer in the Greater New Orleans area. Follow them on Facebook HERE FAQs Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Yes anyone that is drinking alcoholic beverages will be carded. Anyone under the age of 21 caught drinking will be removed from the premise. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? There are many paid parking lots near the venue that are open to the public. There may be traffic issues from 7:30AM-9:00AM due to volume of attendees in the streets. What can/can't I bring to the event? There will be NO OUTSIDE DRINKS allowed into the venue. No ice chests, chairs or music making machines. There will be limiting seating inside the venue so please arrive early if you have special needs for seating. Ideally you will have your printed ticket or the Eventbrite App with the Q-Code for your ticket. What is the refund policy? Ticket sales are final unless the event is canceled. You may transfer your ticket to a friend via Eventbrite. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
